Hadžirešić started playing at the age of 5 in Goch for VfB Alemannia Pfalzdorf. At the age of 8, Hadžirešić moved to Canada with his parents and older brother. He attended Sir Robert Borden High School in Ottawa, Ontario, where he led his school team to Provincials during the 2008-2009 school season[2]. Hadžirešić could not attend Provincials in June 2009 as he was called up for the Bosnian Select team to play against the Bosnian National team. Hadžirešić played youth soccer with the Nepean Hotspurs S.C., OSU S.C., FC Capital United and Ottawa Fury S.C. While playing with Ottawa Fury, Hadžirešić participated in the Super Y League Championships, the US National Cup and the Olympic Development Program[3] In Florida. He also participated in the Foyle Cup in Northern Ireland[4].
In October 2007, West Ham United F.C. in London, England became interested in Hadžirešić and invited him for a fast-track trial. This attempt was unsuccessful because he was unable to obtain a work permit for the country[5]. However, in June 2009, after a successful trial with FK Mladá Boleslav, Hadžirešić signed his first professional contract with the Czech Republic's first division club. He spent two notable years with the club, then returned back to his home in Ottawa, Ontario in early June 2011.
At that time, Ottawa's own professional football club, Capital City F.C., had shown interest in Hadžirešić. For the time period that he was home, he played for the club[6] until their first season in the Canadian Soccer League came to an end. As of his debut for the club in late August 2011, Capital City F.C. went undefeated through the remainder of the season. Hadžirešić also led his team through the Canadian Soccer League playoffs. Hadžirešić is now back playing for FK Mladá Boleslav in the Czech Republic.
Hadžirešić began representing his home country Bosnia in June 2009 when he was chosen to represent a Bosnian select team (novinarska selekcija)[7] that played against the Bosnian National team. He got subbed on at the half-point mark and went on to play the whole second half, at the end of which he received many praises, among which was "Player of the Half". During his 2 year contract with FK Mladá Boleslav, Hadžirešić was called up to a training camp in Alicante, Spain[8] as a member of the Canadian Men's National U-20 Soccer Team. He remains on the roster for any future events.
